Piercell uses nanotechnology for delivering biomolecules into cells. Our product, LEAP™, is a non-viral nano-vector that delivers DNA directly into the nuclei of target cells. LEAP™ allows an extremely efficient transfection of even the hardest-to-transfect cells such as Primary cells, Stem Cells, Neurons and White Blood Cells in unprecedented speed and ease.

Technology

Our delivery technology consists of nano-needle arrays, placed in patented test tubes. A proprietary linking scheme allows the binding of the payload, DNA or RNA, to the needles prior to their penetration into the cells and their timely release before the retraction of the needles from the cells.
