LEAP™, is a non-viral transfection kit that delivers DNA directly into the nuclei of target cells using nano-needle arrays. It allows an extremely efficient transfection of even the hardest-to-transfect cells such as Primary cells, Stem Cells, Neurons and White Blood Cells in unprecedented speed and ease.
Non Viral
LEAP™ is non-viral and hence easier and safer to work with. Although it is currently licensed for research only, in the future it may enable shorter regulatory path for cell therapy clinical trials.

LEAP™ shortens the time between plasmid synthesis and expression by:
- Enabling transfection right after plasmid synthesis, saving weeks of virions preparation
- Delivering plasmids directly into the nuclei, saving waiting time for cell division
Easy to use
Using LEAP™ involves a rapid, 3-step protocol:
- Add your DNA plasmids into the LEAP™ test tube
- Add your target cells and centrifuge in a standard swinging bucket centrifuge
- Flip the LEAP™ test tube over and centrifuge again
